Change:

• The supplier Baxter Healthcare has informed us of a supply issue with its Administration sets.
• There is one product code affected:
  • FSB1244 – Administration sets for pump and gravity Colleague pumps.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FSB1244 is still available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
