Change:

• The supplier B. Braun Medical Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Introcan Safety 3 IV Cannula products.
• There is one product affected:
  • FSP2619 – Safety Peripheral Intravenous Cannula Non-Ported with Wings Blue 22G x 25mm PUR with blood control technology
• Product shipments are currently delayed because of a supplier IT issue.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FSP2619 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
