- The supplier Becton Dickinson has informed us of a supply issue with its blood collection systems.
- There is one product affected:
- KFK518 – Blood Collection Needle Safety with holder 22G Needle Eclipse with Flashback Facility 1in.
- The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
- Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.
Impact:
- KFK518 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
