• The supplier Becton Dickinson UK Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Blood Collection Set Safety Product.
• One product code is affected:
  • KFK324 – Blood Collection Set Safety 21G, green needle 7 tube and luer adaptor push button type.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product code is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
