Change:

• The supplier Becton Dickinson UK Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Hypodermic Syringe products.
• One product code is affected:
  • FWC121 – Hypodermic Syringe 1ml Luer Lock 3 Piece Concentric Clear Sterile.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand and lead times.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
