Change:

• The supplier Becton Dickinson has informed us of a supply issue with its Biopsy Needle products.
• There are three product codes affected:
  • FYU3207 – Biopsy Needles (IR) Encor insert mammotest – 10g
  • FYU3254 – Biopsy Needles (IR) Insert lorad 10g
  • FRZ3041 – Biopsy Needles (IR) Vacuum assisted senomark ultra marker 10-gauge ribbon.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.

 Impact:          

• The affected products are currently available whilst stock lasts, once the stock is depleted the product codes will be unavailable to order.
• A potential indirect alternative is available to order through our online catalogue for the below product:
  • FRZ3041- Biopsy Needles (IR) Vacuum assisted senomark ultra marker 10 gauge coil.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives for two of the affected product codes. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable:
