• There are 40 products affected in total.
• The supply issue is due to shipping delays.

Impact:

• Three products are now subject to Protect Demand Management:

  • EGD259 – Anti-embolism stocking Thigh length Regular X-Large Open toe L
  • EGD022 – Anti Embolism Stocking Below knee Long Small Open toe B.
• Three products are currently suspended and unavailable to order:

  • EGD031 – Anti-embolism stocking Thigh length Petite Small Open toe A
  • EGD035 – Anti-embolism stocking Thigh length Regular Medium Open toe E.
• All remaining product codes are currently subject to intermittent supply.
• EGD022, EGD034 and EGD259 are available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
