• The supplier Codan Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its needlefree transfer spike products.
• One product code is affected:
  • FSW288 – Needlefree transfer spike Take set with Swan-Lock needlefree valve.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FSW288 is still available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
