Supply Issues Draegar Medical Transwarmer Infant Warming Device VCB064 (ICN 3194)

Change:

• The supplier Draegar has informed us of a supply issue with its Transwarmer Infant Warming Device.
• One product code is affected:
  • VCB064 – Patient Warming Device Transwarmer infant transport (WarmGel technology).
• The supply issue is due to shipping delays.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 23 January 2026.
