Supply Issues Essity UK TENA HM Multiple Products (ICN 2984)

Change:

• The supplier Essity UK TENA HM has informed us of a supply issue with multiple products across our Orthotic Services Immobilisation Services and Associated Products framework.
• There are 19 products affected.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.

Impact:          

• 11 products are currently suspended and unavailable to order.
• Eight products are subject to intermittent supply:
  • EAF585, EGJ138, EGJ140, EGJ193, ESC051, GQV602, GQV605 and GRW1121.
• There are potential indirect alternatives for most of the products. These products are available to order through our online catalogue.
• However, some of these products may also be subject to intermittent supply.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 7 July 2025.

Next Steps:              

• Customers are advised to log into our website to view the potential indirect alternative products.
• Customers should note the alternatives may be different in price and lead time.
• The continuing supply issue is being monitored in conjunction with the supplier and we will continue to review the stock situation to minimise further disruption and update this ICN with the latest information as it becomes available.
• However, as this is currently a disrupted market and supply is subject to rapid change, the alternatives offered may also be experiencing temporary supply issues and therefore, customers may need to consider clinically reviewing all additional alternatives provided.
