Change:

• The supplier Gama Healthcare Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Skin Disinfectant Licensed Medicines products.
• One product code is affected:
  • DMK004 – Skin Disinfectant LICENSED MEDICINES. Sterile wipe 2% chlorhexidine in 70% alcohol 100 x 100mm individual sachet NON-RETURNABLE.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
