- The supplier Greiner Bio-One Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Safety Blood Collection Sets with Blood Cultures and Venous Tube products.
- There are four product codes affected:
- KFK332, KFK852, KFK221 and KFK266.
- The supply issue for KFK332, KFK852 is due to increased demand and lead times, and for KFK221 and KFK266 it is due to a labelling error.
Impact:
- KFK332, KFK852 and KFK221 are suspended and unavailable to order.
- KFK266 is subject to Protect Demand Management.
- KFK266 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
