Supply Issues ICU Medical Airways Management Multiple Products (ICN 3356)

Change:

• The supplier ICU Medical has informed us of a supply issue with multiple products across our Airways Management and Associated Products 2024 framework.
• There are 111 product codes affected.
• ICU Medical have advised that they are experiencing difficulties in shipping products due to the consolidation of two warehouses into one.
• Due to this all the affected product codes may experience intermittent supply.

Impact:          

• 99 product codes are currently subject to intermittent supply.  
• 12 product codes are currently suspended and unavailable to order:
  • FDF037, FDF10118, FDF10190, FDF10197, FDF10219, FDF10237, FDF345, FDF349, FDF491, FDF547, FDF549 and FSM7030.
• There are potential indirect alternatives for most of the products. These products are available to order through our online catalogue.
• However, some of these products may also be subject to intermittent supply.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 31 July 2026.

Next Steps:              

• The continuing supply issue is being monitored in conjunction with the supplier, and we will continue to review the stock situation to minimise further disruption and update this ICN with the latest information as it becomes available.
• However, as this is currently a disrupted market and supply is subject to rapid change, the alternatives offered may also be experiencing temporary supply issues and therefore, customers may need to consider clinically reviewing all additional alternatives provided.
