Change:

• The supplier Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Surgical Stapling products.
• Three eDirect products are affected:
  • FGE8405 – Laparoscopic instruments PWRD 31MM CURVED CIRC 18CM SHA.
  • FGE8409 – Laparoscopic instruments PWRD 29MM CURVED CIRC 18CM SHA.
  • FGE8418 – Laparoscopic instruments PWRD 25MM CURVED CIRC 18CM SHA.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand and lead times.
• Demand for the products have increased and the supplier is demand managing the stock levels.

Impact:

• The affected codes are still available to order on intermittent supply basis.
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue.
• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 31 October 2025.
