Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical Limited (3M) has informed us of a supply issue with its Forced Air Warming products.
• Two product codes are affected:
  • VCB85056 – Forced Air Warming Dual Port Torso Warming Blanket
  • VCB070 – Forced Air Warming Adult full access underbody.
• The supply issue is due to reduced manufacturing capabilities
• The supplier has advised this is due to a warehousing issue.

Impact:          

• VCB070 is subject to Protect Demand Management.
• VCB85056 is suspended and unavailable to order.
• VCB070 Is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue:
