Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical Limited (3M) has informed us of a supply issue with its Temperature Probes and Sensor products.
• There is one product affected:
  • FKA766 – Temperature Probes and Sensors Single use non-sterile non-invasive zero heat-flux (deep forehead) temperature sensor.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FKA766 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
