Supply Issues KCI Medical Ltd Fluid Warming Product FSB656 (ICN 3302)

Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Fluid Warming product.
• One product code is affected:
  • FSB656 – Standard flow disposable set with extension for Ranger blood and fluid warmer.
• The supply issue is due to a logistical delay, further stock is due week commencing 23 March 2026.
• Due to this supply issue the product is being threshold managed and is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:          

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• FSB656 is a consumable linked to KCI’s capital equipment; therefore, alternatives are restricted.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 10 April 2026.
