• The supplier Medicare Plus International Limited has informed us of a supply issue with its Barrier Cream.
• There is one product affected:
  • ELY536 – Barrier Cream non sterile 2g.
• The supply issue is due manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
