• ELY561 is now suspended and unavailable to order.

Change:

• The supplier Medicareplus International Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Barrier Film Spray products.
• There are two product codes affected:
  • ELY561 – Barrier film spray no sting non sterile
  • ELY562 – Barrier film spray no sting sterile.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue these products are now being threshold managed as they are subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• The affected products are available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Once the stock is depleted the products will become unavailable to order.
