Supply Issues MicroVention Temporary Warehouse Closure eDirect Products (ICN 2884)

• The supply issues with eDirect products from MicroVention due to their temporary warehouse closure is now resolved.
• MicroVention were undertaking a project to comply with the new Medical Device Regulations (MDR).
• All non-stocked products are now available to order through our online catalogue.
• This ICN is now closed.

Change:

• The supplier MicroVention has informed us that they are undertaking a project to comply with the new Medical Device Regulations (MDR).
• Due to this project, there will be a temporary pause to the supply of non-stocked products from MicroVention, due to warehouse closure.
• There are 517 product codes affected.

Impact:          

• All orders should be raised before 26 March 2025 to avoid the period of closure considering lead times.
• Extended lead times will be applied to orders placed for any impacted products between 27 March 2025 and 7 April 2025.
• MicroVention will begin to fulfil orders placed during the closure period week commencing 7 April 2025.
• Stocked lines can be ordered as normal.

• Some products are only visible to certain customers.
• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 7 April 2025.
