Supply Issues Mindray UK Ltd Defibrillator Electrodes FDK1246 and FDK1254 (ICN 3259)

Change:

• The supplier Mindray UK Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Defibrillator Electrodes.
• There two product codes affected:
  • FDK1246 – Defibrillator Electrode 1 x set 1 Multifunction Defibrillator Pads Adult Disposable Auto ID For BeneHeart D1 Defibrillators
  • FDK1254 – Defibrillator Electrode 1 x set 5 Multifunction Defibrillator Pads Adult Disposable Auto ID For BeneHeart D1 Defibrillators.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand and lead times.

Impact:          

• The affected products are currently subject to intermittent supply.
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue:
  • FDK1256 – Defibrillator Electrode 1 x set 1 Multifunction Defibrillator Pads Adult Disposable non Auto ID For BeneHeart D6 D3 Defibrillators
  • FDK1242 – Defibrillator Electrode 1 x set 5 Multifunction Defibrillator Pads Adult Disposable non Auto ID For BeneHeart D6 D3 and D1 Defibrillators.
• The supplier has informed us that all Mindray pads are clinically compatible with all Mindray defibrillators.

Next Steps:

• To help maintain continuity of supply, Mindray is encouraging customers using D30/D60 devices to transition to the MR60 pad where able, where supply is unaffected.      
• The continuing supply issue is being monitored in conjunction with the supplier, and we will continue to review the stock situation to minimise further disruption and update this ICN with the latest information as it becomes available.
