Change:

• The supplier Olympus Keymed has informed us of a supply issue with its Energy Device products.
• Three product codes are affected:
  • FGE4025 – Energy accessories tb 0545fcs thunderbeat
  • FGE4026 – Energy accessories 5mm x 35cm Front Acuated Grip Advanced Energy Handpiece
  • FGE4027 – Energy accessories TB-0520FCS Handpiece Front-actulated 5mm wide 20mm length.
• The supply issue is due to shipping delays.

Impact:          

• FGE4025 and FGE4026 are currently suspended and unavailable to order.
• FGE4027 is currently unavailable.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.
• Unfortunately, due to the number of variables at play (different generator configurations, whether a customer has existing transducers, generator software variants, and clinical needs) it is very difficult to provide direct alternatives at a broad level. We want to support as many customers as we can and in the timeliest manner to avoid service disruption, so our advice would be for the customer to reach out to their local Territory Manager who will be able to discuss their needs and identify the most suitable product/s based upon the factors previously mentioned.
