Supply Issues Pajunk UK Medical Products Ltd NRFit Spinal Needles (ICN 2912)

Change:

• The supplier Pajunk UK Medical Products Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its NRFit Spinal Needles products.
• Seven products codes are affected:
  • FTR2297
  • FTR2303
  • FTR2310
  • FTR2312
  • FTR2313
  • FTR2314
  • FTR2317
• The supply issue is due to a shortage in raw materials.

Impact:          

• Two products are currently suspended and unavailable to order. Once stock is received, these products will then be threshold managed and will be subject to Protect Demand Management:
  • FTR2310
  • FTR2312
• Four products are subject to Protect Demand Management. They are still available to order through NHS Supply Chain, however, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS:
  • FTR2297
  • FTR2303
  • FTR2314
  • FTR2317
• One product is subject to intermittent supply:
  • FTR2313
• There are potential indirect alternatives for most of the products. These products are available to order through our online catalogue, however, some of these products may also be subject to intermittent supply.
• We are currently sourcing further alternatives and updates will be made to the product listing when available.
• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 23 May 2025.
