Supply Issues Vygon UK Ltd MST Introducer 2Fr FSU562 (ICN 3202)

Change:

• The supplier Vygon UK Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Introducer Catheters.
• There is one product affected:
  • FSU562 – Introducer micro seldinger technique 1.8cm sheath with needle and nitinol guidewire 2fg.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FSU562 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Unfortunately, there are currently no nationally agreed alternative products available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 16 February 2026.
