As part of our Strategy & Architecture function, we’re seeking a Business Analyst who thrives on enterprise-level thinking and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare supply and service delivery. This is more than a traditional BA role. It’s an opportunity to influence and be at the heart of strategic transformation across a complex, national organisation.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll operate at both enterprise and project levels, helping to define and deliver strategic change initiatives that align with our long-term goals. 

Every day you will … 

  • Work closely with the business to identify areas of opportunity, helping them articulate the rationale and benefits of changing, particularly in ways of working.
  • Facilitate engagement such as workshops with business leads to articulate the benefits of changes to colleagues, stakeholders, ensuring that the rationale for change is clear and aligned with business objectives and delvers tangible outcomes.
  • Review and analyse people, processes, information and technology to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement alongside technical architecture colleagues.
  • Conduct data capture, analysis and visualisation to provide actionable insights and inform decision-making processes.
  • Create and update relevant documentation to support business change initiatives.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders, keeping all parties informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation of business change initiatives.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think in terms of capabilities, value, and enterprise outcomes.
  • Leading key business activities including the definition of business problems, objectives, and scope.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of working on transformation projects and programmes in a complex business environment.
  • Experience of delivering business analysis within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Competent in the use of industry-strength best practice in business analysis tools and techniques for example, BPMN, UML, Lean, Six Sigma, Requirements Engineering.
  • Experience in being a change agent and continuous improvement of approaches for Business Analysis.
  • Familiarity with Business and/or Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BizBOK, or Strategy2Execution (desirable).
