NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Capability Development Partner to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.

Every day you will …
- You’ll create end to end design and delivery of programmes and tools that support core capability development from needs analysis, working closely across the all the people directorate teams. Partner with the Performance and Capability Development Lead to plan, organise and evaluate all activities.
- Own and continue to shape the organisation wide the core development programmes offer, ensuring it’s accessible and delivers measurable outcomes. Working closely with the people experience leads, ensure that programmes are aligned to learning needs of collagues, with clear and measurable outcomes. The Capability Development Partner will own all communication campaigns ensuring alignment with other People activities.
- You’ll work in partnership with core colleagues within the People Team to align development initiatives with talent need priorities, our values and behaviours, and EVP. Meet with leaders and People Experience Leads to plan upcoming core learning activity providing guidance and resources as the Subject Matter Expert.
- Utilise data, insight and feedback measure programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement, demonstrating clear links to high performance and talent development. Track programme and initiative engagement, updating dashboards for review by the Performance and Capability Development Lead. Evaluate feedback and identify trends or success stories.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Deep expertise in designing, delivering and evaluating capability development initiatives aligned with business strategy and future workforce needs. Strong understanding of design methodologies e.g. ADDIE, Kirkpatrick and other model.
- Excellent facilitation skills that maintain participant engagement and deliver an effective learning environment.
- Skill in using data and insights to measure the impact of performance and capability initiatives and continuously improve them.
- Skilled in working collaboratively with internal customers and subject matter experts to co-create impactful solutions.
- Keeping up with research and trends in future work, organisational agility, and culture to ensure strategies remain forward-looking and relevant.
