NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Coordinator who will be responsible for helping to manage and maintain the compliance agenda within SCCL, creating and delivering a colleague centric corporate compliance experience. This will require partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business to maximise engagement with compliance and drive value and insights from the compliance framework.

- Carry out a range of quality management activities under the guidance of senior colleagues to contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the quality management system (QMS) and to support the design, development, and documentation of new policies, procedures, and business processes
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them
- Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
- Investigate all kinds of incidents and reports and provide expert advice to more senior colleagues. Minimise risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards by working with all internal functions to make sure compliance programs are properly implemented

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and how they apply to business operations, alongside a good knowledge of regulatory standards, codes of conducts and policies.
- Strong stakeholder management and previous experience of liaising with third party stakeholders.
- Previous experience of problem solving in a corporate setting and knowledge of policy management, mandatory learning, whistle blowing procedures and gift and hospitability processes.
- Ability to assess current policies and business procedures with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Involvement in campaigns and promotions for topics such as mandatory learning.
