NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Strategy Analyst to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.

We are seeking an experienced Strategy Analyst who will be responsible for providing analyses to support the strategic outlook of the organisation and serve as an analytical support to key decision makers. You will assist with the development of key briefings, point papers, talking points, and presentations for senior leaders to support critical decisions on strategy, policy, and investments. You will develop metrics and adapt data measurement strategies.

Every day you will …

  • Explore and analyse external developments, emerging issues, and market changes, assessing their potential impact or value to the organisation.
  • Interpret the strategic need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level.
  • Manage the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.
  • Carry out economic and strategic research using established systems, tools, and protocols, delivering high‑quality insights to support programmes and projects.
  • Lead and deliver qualitative and quantitative analysis, independently interpreting data and evidence to enable effective, organisation‑wide decision making.

  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and strategic buy-in.
  • Experience in corporate strategy development, business analysis, and end-to-end project management, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Skilled in business planning and strategic facilitation, incorporating future-focused analysis to support alignment to long-term organisational goals.
  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, using evidence to support strategic recommendations.
