Salary: £47,874 with the potential to rise to £56,322 over 3 years

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Assurance Manager; responsible for leading assurance activities within an assigned workstream, ensuring that supplier-related risks, issues, and performance concerns are identified, assessed, escalated, and resolved in a timely and consistent manner. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the role promotes effective assurance practices that support successful delivery, strengthen governance, and drive continuous improvement.
The role focuses on embedding clear, proportionate, and risk-based assurance approaches, providing stakeholders with confidence that appropriate controls, oversight, and mitigation actions are in place. Acting as a trusted partner, the Supplier Assurance Manager helps create positive outcomes by balancing assurance requirements with operational delivery needs.
Every day you will …
- Lead and deliver a structured portfolio of assurance activities aligned to organisational priorities, ensuring effective oversight across a defined workstream.
- Analyse assurance insights to identify risks, issues and emerging trends, translating findings into actionable improvement plans and timely mitigations.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve assurance processes, templates and reporting tools to drive consistency, efficiency and effective governance.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure assurance outcomes are clearly understood, owned and addressed, while building trust through a supportive and transparent approach.
- Produce clear dashboards and updates, monitor the effectiveness of assurance actions, and use lessons learned to strengthen future assurance practices and decision-making.
