The Value Stream Lead –Reach to Loyalty plays a pivotal role in NHS Supply Chain’s major transformation programme, leading the design and implementation of new, best-practice business processes from the ground up.

This is not a role focused on incremental change—it requires bold thinking and the creation of out-of-the-box solutions that redefine how the organisation operates. The successful candidate will take full ownership of both the current (‘as-is’) and future (‘to-be’) process landscapes, acting as a gatekeeper to ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders.

This autonomous position offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale, multi-year transformation, with long-term responsibility for process performance and continuous improvement. It provides high visibility across the organisation and valuable experience in ERP transformation, stakeholder engagement, and process leadership.

Reporting to the Head of End-to-End Process, the Value Stream Lead will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, programme teams, internal cross-functional departments, and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.

Every day you will…

  • Process Ownership & Leadership – Champion and define future ways of working.
  • Process Mapping & Documentation – Understand and document current processes.
  • Design & Requirements Definition – Lead the creation of future processes and translate them into system requirements.
  • Change Management & Testing – Support implementation, testing, and ensure a successful go-live.
  • Performance Monitoring – Establish metrics and monitor long-term process performance.

What can we offer you?

  • Hybrid working opportunities, giving you the flexibility to work collaboratively in the office and remotely.
  • We recognise our employees’ hard work and contributions through annual bonus schemes, long-service awards, and VIP colleague awards.
  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase an additional 5 days.

  • A focus on your well-being, offering 1 day of paid well-being leave and free access to the 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme

  • Access to our Flexible Benefits Scheme, where you can choose from a variety of benefits such as Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, Health Cash Plan, Dental Insurance, and additional pension contributions that suit you.
