Milk Pint Review

Our Fresh Food Category Buyer Anna Gibson is currently recommending trusts to switch their milk purchases, from a pint to a two litre format. This helps reduce plastic waste, supporting trusts Green Plans, and presents a large savings opportunity.

By replacing milk pints with larger formats it’s an easy win for trusts. They will significantly reduce waste sustainably, improve their carbon footprint and unlock immediate financial benefits.

Tim Radcliffe, Net Zero Food Programme Manager, NHS England

To unlock your savings our Fresh Food Buyer will liaise with your milk supplier to summarise the savings available.

Please speak to your local NHS Supply Chain: Food Account Manager to review the savings opportunity for your Trust to replace milk pints with two litre formats.
