Diabetes Week 2025

This month we are showing support for people living with diabetes, as part of Diabetes Week 2025. The week runs from Monday 9 June to Sunday 15 June. The purpose of this awareness week is to shout about the things that matter to people living with diabetes and signpost them to available resources.

We will be signposting people to Healthy Eating Guides produced by Diabetes UK to help support those living with the condition. Look out for our posts on LinkedIn throughout the week.

Even More Please! – Coming Soon

We we will be releasing a sequel to More Please! – our children’s concept recipe book.

In this exciting new addition, we will be focusing on high street food favourites that children love, with our own individual twist, such as a katsu curry burger.

Our Dietetics team will offer you unique insights into portion control, helping you to limit your food waste from the planning stages before food is even purchased.

Showing how portion sizes differ depending on age, and supporting you with menu optimisation (a planned approach to your food production, pricing, descriptions of dishes, and visual appeal) are just a couple of the on-trend topics we will cover in the book.

Watch this space for a future release date very soon.

Chef’s tips:

When it comes to asparagus and its flavour, simplicity is key. This very simple recipe will bring out that best, in season flavour. You could enhance this recipe by adding a poached or soft-boiled egg to dip the spears into. With the leftover root trimmings, these can be used to make a tasty soup.
