New Executive Directors Appointed

Patrick is a Chartered Management Accountant and has experience across multiple sectors, most recently in executive leadership positions in public, private equity and charitable healthcare environments. After qualifying in a manufacturing environment he worked in Distribution and Logistics, before moving into Retail and joining the Home Retail Group where he was involved in a substantial transformation programme and then large scale off-shore sourcing and supply of product. Patrick moved into Healthcare, joining Circle Health where they successfully scaled and listed the business following which he worked in the NHS on the Provider side at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and West Hertfordshire Hospitals, and on the Commissioning side mainly in Staffordshire and Lincolnshire. Patrick joined NHS Supply Chain from King Edward VII’s Hospital where he was Finance and Commercial Director.

Patrick has expertise at engaging and developing teams to grow and develop businesses from SME and Private Equity backed businesses to larger scale, public and charitable enterprises. He has expertise in scaling businesses through organic and acquisitive growth, integrating new businesses and workstreams as well as setting up strategic partnerships and joint ventures. He has led transformation programmes as well as systems development and implementation.

Alex has 30 years supply chain experience at a senior level in the consumer goods and retail sectors. He joins NHS Supply Chain from Heineken where he was most recently Programme Director leading the transformation of Heineken’s Supply Chain across Europe.

Prior to this Alex was a Board Director of Heineken UK leading the Customer Service, Logistics and Planning functions. Alex previously held senior Supply Chain roles in the UK and Europe at Mondelez, Asda, Coca-Cola and BIC.
