New roles to support major supply chain transformation

14 May 2026

The NHS Supply Chain Modernisation Programme will allow NHS Supply Chain to make a step change in its ability to serve the NHS and patients across England, by investing in IT and supply chain infrastructures through a multi-year programme.

To ensure NHS trusts are involved in the design, delivery and adoption of the programme, NHS Supply Chain will second a ‘regional lead’ from each NHS region to work on the programme team.

The roles aim to bring frontline expertise into programme decision-making and support trusts to successfully embed agreed processes across acute and non-acute settings. The aim is to ensure that trust insights and processes are considered at every stage of this programme.

See our Useful Links section for more information on the roles or to apply on the NHS Jobs website.
