Removal of Blue Diamond Supply Route Now Complete

The project to remove the Blue Diamond supply route from our service offer is now complete.
Over the last 12 months, we have worked with 269 suppliers to transfer 25,000+ products from Blue Diamond to either the stocked or eDirect supply route, offering customers far greater accessibility and visibility of transactions. During the project, just over 2,000 products were removed from our catalogue due to having very little or no demand or because they were discontinued by the supplier.
The delivered service level for customers has increased from an average of 93% to 98% for products moved into the stocked route, with a reduced lead time of 72 hours. There’s been an overall lead time reduction of 48 hours for the products transitioned to the eDirect route.

We will constantly review products to ensure they are on the correct route. Faster moving eDirect products will be reviewed for stocked and vice versa.
