Foetal pillows are life critical devices to be used in difficult stages of caesarean sections, used to elevate the deeply impacted foetal head, reducing trauma and improving delivery of the newborn.

When supply of these products ran dangerously low, NHS Supply Chain had to act quickly to ensure these products were delivered where they were needed to ensure the safety of newborn babies.
