Vascular Therapy and Associated Products
The new framework for Vascular Therapy and Associated Products starts on 28 February 2020, runs for 48 months and ends on 27 February 2024. This includes a 24 month extension.
This framework provides a wide range of vascular therapy products to reduce the risk of patients developing Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) post-surgery, manage venous and lymphatic conditions, and treat leg ulcers and lymphoedema. This includes anti-embolism stockings, intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) garments, graduated compression hosiery, and leg ulcer kits. The products are used in theatres, post-surgery wards, wards, patients own homes, and in the community.
There are six lots on this new framework:
- Lot 1: Anti Embolism Stockings (AES) – Knee High, Thigh High, Full Length
- Lot 2: Intermittent Compression Garments (IPC) – Below Knee, Thigh High, Universal
- Lot 3: Graduated compression Garments – Lower Limb, Upper Limb, Hand, Custom Made – Bespoke
- Lot 4: Leg Ulcer Kits – Kits, Kits incorporating the treatment of oedema, Liners
- Lot 5: Alternative products – Alternative therapy products, Wraps
- Lot 6: Accessories – IPC Tubing, Donning and Doffing, Tape Measures.
