The MultiFlow ultra low patient stretcher has been developed to support safer, more comfortable care for patients in emergency departments and theatres. It is designed with a low minimum platform height of 420mm, which makes a meaningful difference to the way patients are able to move on and off the stretcher. By allowing a patient to transfer with less effort, it reduces the physical strain on staff and gives patients more chance to move independently. A lower height also helps reduce the risk of falls during transfers, which is particularly important for patients who may be unsteady, in pain or affected by a medical emergency.

The stretcher includes side rails that meet ISO 60601‑2‑52 standards. This means the product supports Trusts in meeting up‑to‑date health and safety requirements for medical beds and stretchers. Using equipment that meets these recognised standards helps provide reassurance that patient protection has been considered throughout the design. The side rails offer a secure boundary without feeling restrictive, and they are designed for ease of use by clinical staff working in fast‑paced environments.

Another important feature of the MultiFlow stretcher is its fully electric, four‑section profiling platform.
