This offer gives customers the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of the Olympus ENDOEYE while benefiting from a higher level of discount. The discount available depends on the number of scopes ordered or scrapped as part of the process. Customers can receive 15 per cent for one scope, 18 per cent for two scopes, 21 per cent for three to four scopes, or 25 per cent when ordering or scrapping five or more scopes.
ENDOEYE is the Olympus videoscope designed for minimally invasive surgical procedures. It provides surgeons with clear, detailed visualisation to support safe and precise operating. The system uses advanced digital imaging through chip on the tip technology, which places the imaging sensor directly at the distal end of the scope. With an all‑in‑one design and an integrated light guide cable, the Olympus ENDOEYE offers a streamlined and reliable solution in the operating theatre.
The Olympus ENDOEYE range delivers high definition image quality and is available in both 2D and 3D formats. Its performance supports a wide range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, colorectal surgery, gynaecology, thoracic surgery and urology. This makes it suitable for hospitals looking for consistent imaging standards across multiple departments.
Minimally invasive surgery can present challenges because surgeons must depend on a camera system rather than direct line of sight. Good image quality is essential for accurate tissue assessment and confident decision‑making. The Olympus ENDOEYE concept aims to support the clinical team by improving ergonomics, reducing issues with orientation and providing an enhanced surgical view. These benefits help with clearer identification of anatomical structures and can contribute to smoother workflows during procedures.
With its chip on the tip technology, the lenses and sensor work together at the very end of the scope to capture and transmit images without unnecessary loss of detail. This approach produces a bright, stable and clear picture, along with a wide screen and squared image section on the monitor. As a result, the risk of missing information in the corners of the display is reduced, helping the surgical team maintain a consistent view throughout the procedure.
Features and Benefits
- Fog free performance in the 10mm versions, supported by a heater function at the tip that helps prevent lens fogging and reduces the risk of delays during procedures.
- Focus free imaging that remains consistently sharp, supported by a large depth of field so surgeons can concentrate fully on the patient without needing to adjust focus.
- Improved visualisation as the image is captured directly at the distal end, providing bright, clear and natural 3D depth perception.
- All in one design that is simple to set up and easy for the surgical team to use.
- Reduced cabling requirements as there is no need for a separate light guide cable, allowing the assistant to rotate the scope smoothly without interference.
- 30 degree optical image rotation that enables the user to adjust the view without losing the horizon.
- Full control during surgery through three programmable remote control buttons on the scope.
- Autoclave compatibility, helping to lower costs compared with other sterilisation methods.
This offer is over and above the standard discount available through the NHS Supply Chain framework agreement. The discount is a fixed term offer. All orders must be placed before 12 August 2026.
