Trade Association Engagement Programme
The Trade Association Engagement Programme exists to provide engagement and joint working opportunities between:
- Supplier trade associations
- NHS Supply Chain
- NHS England
- Department of Health and Social Care.
The programme provides supplier trade associations with a forum to have strategic conversations about common issues across the different sectors that their members operate in.
The group seeks to work collaboratively on issues, developing greater value through partnership working. Examples include:
- Regulatory requirements
- Policy development and its impact on suppliers
- Innovation and bringing innovative products to market
- Value based procurement
- Sustainability asks of suppliers
- Communications to help suppliers meet the requirements of procurement processes.
A mix of face-to-face and online sessions are held throughout the year.
The engagement programme has replaced the Supplier Board.
