Supply Issues KCI Medical Limited Barrier Film ELY038 (ICN 2938)

Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical Limited has informed us of a supply issue with its Barrier Film products.
• There is one product affected:
  • ELY038 – Barrier film foam applicator no sting sterile 1ml.
• The supply issue is due to shipping delays.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue, this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• ELY038 remains available while our current stock lasts. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS. Once the stock is depleted the product code will then be unavailable to order.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 4 June 2025.
