Supply Issues Kimal PLC 16G and 18G High Flow Huber Needles Multiple Products (ICN 3438)

• The supply issue with 16G and 18G high flow Huber needles from Kimal PLC is now resolved.
• Six affected products are no longer available to order and will be delisted from our online catalogue by 4 September 2026.

Change:

• The supplier Kimal PLC has informed us of a supply issue with its 16G and 18G high flow Huber needles.
• There are six product codes affected:
  • FNK85000 – Needle Vascular Access 16G x 1.25 Inch (Pink) Latex Free Non-Coring High-Flow
  • FNK85001 – Needle Vascular Access 16G x 1 Inch (Pink) Latex Free Non-Coring High Flow
  • FNK85002 – Needle Vascular Access 16G x 0.75 Inch (Pink) Latex Free Non-Coring High Flow
  • FNK85003 – Needle Vascular Access 18G x 1.25 Inch (Green) Latex Free Non-Coring High Flow
  • FNK85004 – Needle Vascular Access 18G x 1 Inch (Green) Latex Free Non-Coring High Flow
  • FNK85005 – Needle Vascular Access 18G x 0.75 Inch (Green) Latex Free Non-Coring High Flow.
• The supply issue is due to the manufacturer Norfolk Medical suspending its CE-marked product range whilst exploring the possibility of supply via an Exceptional Use Authorisation (EUA).

 Impact:

• Four of the affected products are currently suspended and unavailable to order:
  • FNK85000, FNK85001, FNK85003 and FNK85005.
• Two of the affected products remain available to order while the supplier’s stock lasts. Once depleted, the products will be suspended and unavailable to order:
  • FNK85002 and FNK85004.
• There are six product codes affected in total.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.
