Location: Hybrid – 2 days based in one of our offices (Nottingham, Alfreton, Sheffield, Wakefield, Daresbury or London)
Contract type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £64,062 with the potential to rise to £75,367 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain is entering a significant period of transformation, creating an opportunity for a Business Change Lead to play a central role in ensuring business change is delivered effectively, adopted consistently and embedded sustainably across the organisation.
Business change is a critical enabler of NHS Supply Chain’s long‑term transformation ambition. This role exists to ensure that programmes and initiatives achieve their intended business outcomes by placing people, adoption and readiness at the heart of delivery.
As Business Change Lead, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of business change management activity across projects and programmes. You will work in close partnership with programme and project teams to ensure stakeholders are engaged, prepared and supported through business change, enabling benefits to be realised and sustained.
Every day you will …
- Lead the delivery of business change management activity across projects and programmes, ensuring desired business outcomes are achieved and stakeholders are ready and prepared for the change.
- Drive the end-to-end change management framework and toolkit, providing direction and support to business change managers and key stakeholders.
- Lead the development and assurance of change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, business readiness assessment and plans to support projects and programmes as we transition from the current state to the future state.
- Champion the principles and value of Business Change Management across NHS Supply Chain, building understanding, advocacy and leadership commitment at all levels.
- Create, lead and sustain a Business Change Network, identifying change champions and super users to support adoption and readiness.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- Previous experience in delivering business change on large scale transformation programmes
- Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic alignment and consistency across organisation.
- Experience in applying business change methodologies and framework.
- Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Change Management accreditation desirable i.e – Prosci
