This framework starts on 10 January 2022, runs for 48 months and ends on 9 January 2026. This includes a 24 month extension and there is an option to extend for a further 24 months.

This framework agreement offers access to managed services which provide fully bespoke managed equipment and clinical service solutions within but not limited to an imaging or theatre environment. These services can be supported with staff (where required).

When would this service be used?

  • To deliver revenue based equipment replacement programmes – Managed Equipment Services
  • To deliver Community Diagnostic Centres
  • To deliver National Screening Programmes such as Lung Health Checks
  • To cover the gap between old equipment being decommissioned and new equipment being installed
  • To continue patient services during an emergency, where a fixed site becomes inoperable
  • To meet key service-related targets
  • To help reduce patient backlogs
  • To deliver diagnostic reporting services.

Framework Agreement Compliance
Where applicable, all suppliers awarded to this framework agreement:

  • Are Care Quality Commission registered (to the relevant sections dependant on service provision)
  • Provide Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked staff, where required
  • Hold insurances of a minimum of £5 million
  • Hold ISO 9001 Quality Management, or equivalent, certification
  • Hold Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) or equivalent, certification
  • Hold Data Security and Protection Toolkit, or equivalent, certification.
