How to purchase from the framework
This is a direct framework agreement. To order from the framework:
- Customers have two options to procure equipment via the framework. With Lot 4 only, trusts can direct award if internal procurement policies and Procurement Act 2023 are followed.
- Further competition is available for all Lots and is the only option of procurement for Lots 1, 2 and 3.

IMS and PoC scanning solutions are crucial for enhancing patient safety, supply chain resilience, clinical productivity, and cost efficiency. This Framework Agreement complies with required NHS England data and technology standards and seeks to provide buyers with visibility of the differences between available systems.

- Lot 2: Point-of-Care Scanning Systems (PoC)
- Lot 3: IMS and PoC Systems combined
- Lot 4: Hardware and devices supporting inventory management and point-of-care scanning.

Key Benefits
The framework offers a Combined Trust Procurement (CTP) discount when two or more customers choose to buy together to get a discount based on their combined needs. This is done through a mini competition.
