The Drager JM-105 Jaundice Meter is a non-invasive transcutaneous bilirubinometer, measuring yellowness of subcutaneous tissue in newborn infants. The JM-105 provides a visual digital measurement that has been shown to correlate with serum bilirubin in newborn infants.

This device is effective with heterogeneous populations, suitable for use in both acute and primary care settings and accurately identifies at-risk infants as young as 24 weeks gestational age.

  • Clinical Data Standard Error of Estimate (SEE) – +/- 1.5 mg/dL or +/- 25.5 μmol/L (> 35 weeks gestation) +/- 1.6 mg/dL or +/- 27.4 μmol/L (24 – 34 weeks gestation).
