Intuitive offers a promotional commercial arrangement on the da Vinci X Surgical System, providing customers with savings of up to 33% on capital equipment or other discounted options.
Philips is pleased to offer up to 19.2% discount off of their Spectral CT 7500 CT Pro CT scanner with its diagnostic spectral solution which utilises dual detector technology to deliver spectral data 100% of the time without compromise. This is all achieved within one single exposure, for any clinical procedure and all without the need for special spectral scan modes.
This is made possible because of Philips’ unique dual detector technology. Philips’ innovative dual detector technology enables Spectral CT imaging without changing the way clinicians work. It provides access to valuable clinical information, including improved tissue characterisation and enhanced visualisation of anatomical structures, helping clinicians make more informed decisions and supporting confident diagnosis.
A key advantage of this technology is that spectral data is acquired during every scan, allowing retrospective analysis whenever needed. This means clinicians can access additional spectral information after the examination has been completed, without requiring a repeat scan. As a result, there is no need to identify patients in advance who may benefit from spectral imaging, simplifying patient pathways and reducing workflow complexity.
The system integrates seamlessly into traditional CT workflows, with no requirement for separate scanning protocols or dedicated spectral acquisitions. Radiology teams can continue using established processes while gaining access to advanced imaging capabilities. Importantly, these benefits are achieved without any loss of acquisition speed, ensuring patient throughput and departmental efficiency are maintained.
Patient safety is also supported, as spectral imaging is available without any increase in radiation dose. All existing dose management tools remain fully available during spectral acquisitions, enabling departments to maintain their radiation optimisation strategies and support compliance with best practice standards.
The technology provides a full 50cm field of view for all examinations, ensuring broad clinical applicability across a wide range of patient types and imaging requirements. In addition, the system offers comprehensive cardiac imaging capabilities, including full model-based iterative reconstruction during ECG modulation and complete cardiac spectral imaging results. This enables high-quality cardiac assessments while continuing to benefit from the additional diagnostic information provided by spectral CT.
Overall, Philips’ dual detector technology delivers advanced spectral imaging as a standard part of every examination, offering enhanced clinical insights, operational efficiency and flexibility without compromising workflow, scan speed or patient dose.
Features and Benefits
- On-demand prospective and retrospective Spectral results provide additional clinical information from every scan, allowing users to review spectral data at the time of acquisition or retrospectively without the need for repeat imaging.
- NanoPanel Prism Detector technology delivers enhanced image quality and spectral performance, supporting improved diagnostic confidence and tissue characterisation across a wide range of clinical applications.
- Large 80cm bore design improves patient accessibility and comfort, helping to accommodate bariatric patients, trauma cases and patients requiring additional positioning accessories or monitoring equipment.
- High-performance patient table supports up to 307kg (667lb), features a low table height of 430mm, scan ranges up to 2,000mm, and movement speeds of up to 600mm/s, facilitating easier patient transfers and reducing manual handling requirements for staff.
- Iterative Model Reconstruction (IMR) produces virtually noise-free images and exceptional low-contrast detectability, enabling high-quality imaging at significantly reduced radiation dose levels while supporting advanced gated examinations.
- iDose⁴ Premium Package, including Orthopaedic Metal Artefact Reduction (O-MAR), helps improve image quality, reduce image noise and minimise artefacts caused by metallic implants, supporting more accurate diagnoses.
- High-power iMRC X-ray tube and 120kW generator – supports imaging at 80, 100, 120 and 140 Kilovoltage Peak (kVp), allowing optimisation for a broad range of patient types, from paediatric through to bariatric imaging applications.
- Included five-year unlimited-use tube warranty, when purchased alongside a Philips maintenance contract, may help reduce long-term operational costs and support predictable budget planning.
- Comprehensive cardiac imaging capability with Rate Responsive CV Toolkit and Step and Shoot Complete supports advanced cardiac CT examinations, delivering high-quality cardiac imaging while helping to manage radiation dose.
- 256 slices x 2, 8cm z-axis coverage, frictionless AirGlide gantry and 0.27 second rotation time enable fast image acquisition, excellent temporal resolution and efficient workflow, supporting a wide range of routine, emergency and specialised CT examinations.
This offer is over and above the standard discount available through the NHS Supply Chain framework agreement. The discount is a fixed term offer. All orders must be placed before 1 January 2027.
