NHS Supply Chain is committed to supporting innovation in everything we do. We strive to do this by working alongside clinicians to understand their demand for innovation, and matching demand with availability from suppliers.
Innovation is at the forefront of NHS Supply Chain’s procurement process. This process is supported by our Task Force programme which exists to obtain clinical product feedback throughout our procurement process.
Through the programme we can also ensure that any new/innovative products to market can be assessed as to their suitability and if appropriate can provide a quicker route to supply. This process also helps us to identify new ways of anticipating product, procurement and logistics needs within the marketplace.
