• The supplier Becton Dickinson has informed us of a supply issue with its hypodermic syringe products.
• There is one product code affected:
  • FWC062 – Hypodermic Syringe 30ml Luer Lock Concentric Clear Plunger Sterile.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

• The affected product is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
