Overview
This framework starts on 9 December 2025, runs for 24 months and ends on 8 December 2027. There is an option to extend for an additional 24 months.
It replaces the former Angiography and Hybrid Theatre Equipment and Related Services framework.
There are 14 suppliers, including 8 new suppliers, on the framework offering an expanded product range that introduces new options and provides customers with greater choice. See the Suppliers section for a full list of suppliers on this framework.
Areas covered
There are four lots on this framework (see Product Categories section for a full description).
See our Downloads ▼ section for the full product listing on the Framework Matrices.
Resilience
The framework has been designed to ensure resilience through a clear structure of four lots, each addressing distinct customer requirements.
Together, these lots strengthen the framework’s adaptability, broaden product availability, and reinforce its capacity to meet evolving demands.
See the product categories for a full description of what is offered in each lot.
How to purchase from the framework
Important notice – This is a direct framework agreement. To order products compliantly through the framework:
- Our team will need to validate your quotation from the chosen supplier against our framework pricing and issue you with a Unique Reference Number (URN) allowing you to purchase directly.
- You can either obtain a quote yourself or we can obtain a quote on your behalf. If obtaining a quote yourself give the framework reference number when contacting your preferred supplier to ensure the correct pricing and compliance.
- If you obtain a quote yourself from your chosen supplier, please email details to our dedicated mailbox so our team can validate the framework pricing. Our Category team will then provide you with a Unique Reference Number (URN). This URN must be detailed on your purchase order to order the required equipment.
- The framework also offers opportunities for call off / direct call off agreements.

Sustainability and Social Value
Sustainability, net zero and social value are important elements in how NHS Supply Chain build our framework offering through the procurement process, tendering, supplier award and contract management. There are five mandatory requirements for suppliers to address supporting compliance with relevant PPNs and NHS England policy.
- Carbon Reduction Plan (PPN 006)
- Evergreen Assessment
- Modern Slavery Assessment (PPN 009)
- Social Value (PPN 002)
- NHS England Net Zero Supplier Roadmap and Horizon Scanning
Awarded suppliers meet the current milestones on the net zero roadmap and have awareness and understanding of future milestones.
Social value
See our Downloads ▼ section for further information on suppliers’ social value commitments.
Sustainable opportunities
The following sustainable opportunities are available on this framework:
Product Lifecycle – product lifespan can be maximised by on-going servicing and maintenance of the equipment including innovative service models. Smart upgrades are available to extend equipment’s useful life. Software is also available to drive resource optimisation and optimise the product’s lifespan. Awarded suppliers support customers through every phase by managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, timelines, installation, monitoring and closure.
A fully Managed Service is available to streamline consumable usage and reduce waste through supplier-led inventory management. It supports non-clinical operations, maximising up-time so staff can focus on patient care. The service enhances efficiency, boosts capacity, and drives staff engagement. All delivered through a cost-effective, one-stop-shop for advanced infrastructure and technology.
Product end of life – The attachment outlines supplier-level value-added services at product end-of-life, including takeback, buy-back schemes, in-situ equipment removal, and refurbishment or remanufacturing programmes. Suppliers actively support circularity through recovery, reuse, and refurbishment of systems and components. These initiatives lower environmental impact, strengthen supply resilience, and align with NHS circular economy goals. High-quality refurbished systems are also made available to support under-resourced areas.
Sustainable design, in-use impacts, sustainable materials and packaging – the framework can offer equipment and solutions that have significantly less impact on the environment over the whole lifecycle with a focus on sustainable materials, energy-use, reduction and avoidance of harmful/hazardous substances, circularity and packaging. Examples include:
- use of lightweight materials – switching to materials such as aluminium, magnesium alloys, carbon fibre or advanced composites can significantly reduce product weight whilst maintaining strength and durability. This not only reduces the carbon impact of transportation but also enables ease of movability within theatres.
- Energy-efficient equipment that reduces in-use impact and operational costs.
Customers can discuss their requirements with our team as part of the purchasing process in the ‘Statement of Requirements’.
